Accessibility

What we aim for, what we know is not there yet, and where to tell us.

DRAFT · not audited yetWe have not completed a formal audit. This page says what we know today and will be updated when one is done.

What we aim for

WCAG 2.2 level AA across the marketing pages and the tools: keyboard access to everything, visible focus, text contrast of at least 4.5:1, labeled controls and alt text where an image carries meaning.

Known limits

The visual designer is a desktop tool.
Its canvas and format pane need a pointer and a wide screen. The marketing pages, the theme generator, DAX SVG, templates and the report linter work on a phone.
The code editor is third-party.
Monaco has its own keyboard model and screen-reader support; we have not audited it.
Color is not the only signal, but contrast depends on your theme.
Our own interface meets the contrast targets; a theme you design might not, which is exactly what the contrast warnings in the theme generator are for.
